In 2018, SATELLITE BERLIN draws its energy from the interaction among two thematic modules: VIBRANT MATTER and VITAL FORCES - FOOD IN CONTEXT.
VIBRANT MATTER
illuminates art in the flux of innovation by initiating cross-disciplinary collaborations between artists and agile thinkers from other fields of knowledge. The results are showcased in our exhibition program, publication series and talks in close cooperation with collaborating institutions.
VITAL FORCES - FOOD IN CONTEXT
explores food culture as a cultural good in the past, present and future. The goal is to illuminate the connections and relationship of the fields of art, literature, agriculture, science, health, education, eating trends and ethics, philosophy and politics.
